PRODUCTS, PRICES, DESCRIPTIONS & PHOTOS

Our online inventory changes continuously. Occasionally a product may appear on the site by mistake or the product may contain errors. Many of our products contain photos that are provided by their respective manufacturers, distributors, or wholesalers. We can not guarantee they will match the physical product exactly. For specific features, info, and included accessories, please read the product descriptions, and do not rely solely upon the product photos.
We do not guarantee that titles, pictures, descriptions, or prices on our site are error-free. By placing an order, the customer agrees that Utah FAST will be the final arbiter of discrepancies in the online catalog, and Utah FAST reserves the right to cancel any order due to these errors. If an error is discovered we will correct the error and work with the customer to resolve the situation.

  • It is the customer's responsibility to check all local, city, county, state, and federal laws BEFORE placing an order.

TRANSFER FEES

Many FFL dealers charge a transfer fee that is generally between $10 and $100. Utah FAST has no control over, nor do we know the transfer fees that any other dealer may charge. This fee is NOT collected by our website. You (the customer) will be required to pay any additional fees, as required, at the time of the firearm transfer. Contact your local FFL dealer to inquire about any applicable transfer fees before placing your order.

  • Firearm transfers require a transfer fee to be paid before completing the transfer.
  • NFA firearm transfers require a fee to be paid when submitting the ATF Form 4.
  • All firearms including NFA firearms that are purchased from us or this website, and the transfer is completed at our location, are exempt from paying our transfer fee.

UTAH FAST TRANSFER FEES

When we receive a firearm from another FFL dealer or individual we charge a reasonable fee to complete the transfer.

Handguns, Rifles & Shotguns:

  • $20.00 (first firearm)
  • $10.00 (each additional firearm within the same transfer)

NFA Firearms:

  • $59.99 - Individuals (each additional Form 4 within the same transfer receives a 50% discount)
  • $69.99 - NFA Trusts (each additional Form 4 within the same transfer receives a 50% discount)
  • $29.99 - Each Additional Form 23 "Responsible Person Questionnaire", If Applicable
  • The transfer fee does not include the background check fee, if applicable.
  • Law Enforcement, Military, Veterans, and EMS Receive A $5.00 Discount On All Transfer Fees.

BACKGROUND CHECKS

  • A background check is required to be completed before a firearm transfer can be completed. This is generally conducted through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) or state agency if the customer lives in a Point Of Contact (POC) state. Utah FAST has no control over, nor do we know the background check fees that any other FFL dealer may charge. This fee is NOT collected by our website. You (the customer) will be required to pay any additional background check fees, as required, at the time of the firearm transfer. Contact your local FFL dealer to inquire about any applicable background check fees before placing your order.
  • For all firearm transfers completed in Utah, a background check is conducted through the Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI). We are required to collect the background check fee per U.C.A. §76-10-526. 12(a), which states "A dealer shall collect a criminal history background check fee for the sale of a firearm". The fee is $7.50.
  • Although the ATF completed a background check during the Form 4 approval process, Utah law requires another background check to be conducted to complete the NFA transfer.
  • If the background check is returned with a "Proceed" or "Approved" response, the firearm transfer will be completed.
  • If the background check is returned with a "Delayed", "Pending", or "Research" response, BCI has to investigate additional information.
  • If the background check is returned with a "Denied" response we will NOT complete the firearm transfer. The purchaser is responsible for contacting the place of purchase, paying our transfer fee (if applicable), and any return shipping costs (if applicable). See Causes for Denial of a Purchase on the BCI website.
  • If a customer has had issues related to mistaken identity or identity theft, the background check may be delayed an indefinite amount of time or denied. Anyone can apply for a Voluntary Appeal File (VAF), but it is designed for firearm purchasers who believe they are legally allowed to buy firearms but have been denied more than once or frequently experience delays in their transactions. Purchasers sometimes find themselves experiencing delays or denials in firearms purchases because of a past misdemeanor charge or because an ineligible person has a similar name. When you apply for the VAF, FBI personnel will research your case and assign you a Unique Personal Identification Number (UPIN). For more information see more information on the FBI website for Firearm-Related Challenge (Appeal) and Voluntary Appeal File (VAF).
  • Utah residents who provide the FFL dealer with a Utah concealed firearm permit at the time the firearm is transferred, and it is verified valid by BCI, are exempt from paying the background check fee. If the background check is returned with an "Invalid" response we will NOT complete the firearm transfer.
  • As provided in U.C.A. §76-10-526. 14 "A law enforcement officer, as defined in Section 53-13-103, is exempt from the background check fee required in this section for the purchase of a personal firearm to be carried while off-duty if the law enforcement officer verifies current employment by providing a letter of good standing from the officer's commanding officer and current law enforcement photo identification." and "may only be used by a law enforcement officer to purchase a personal firearm once in a 24-month period."

  • Utah FAST accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We also offer customers the option to purchase items using Sezzle by splitting your payments into 4 installments over 6 weeks.
  • We reserve the right to cancel orders due to pricing or inventory errors. Please note that the prices of firearms and accessories fluctuate daily based on what we can purchase them for. This is how we can offer you the lowest prices on firearms and accessories. We do not offer a price guarantee and will not provide a partial refund if the sale price of an item or firearm is lowered after you make your purchase.
  • Orders are processed in the order they are received either from our in-stock inventory or through a manufacturer, wholesaler, or distributor within 3 to 5 business days.
  • In addition to our processing times, orders that contain items that will be shipped from a wholesaler or distributor to us, drop-shipped directly to an FFL dealer, or directly to a customer are subject to their current processing, fulfillment, and shipping times which can be approximately 5 to 14 business days.
  • Orders cannot be processed and will be flagged as fraud if the billing and shipping address DO NOT match. If an order includes a firearm or other serialized item, the system will dictate it as such and it will be sent to the chosen FFL dealer. Do NOT put the FFL dealer as the shipping address.

CHANGING, MODIFYING, SUBSTITUTING ORDERS

  • We strive to serve our customers as best as possible and we understand that mistakes can happen. If you have placed an order that needs to be changed or modified, and it has not been processed or submitted to a manufacturer, wholesaler, or distributor for processing, it will be canceled and the customer will be refunded the full amount. The customer can then complete a new order.
  • Utah FAST will NOT process an order if we suspect fraudulent activity or if sensitive information gets exchanged in transactions.
  • Utah FAST will NOT provide a refund, exchange, substitute, replace, or make any changes to orders to meet the legal requirements of your local, city, county, or state. Magazines, firearm parts, accessories, etc. that violate any local or state laws will not have the item shipped with the order. For additional information see State Restrictions

ORDER & SHIPPING DELAYS

  • Due to the influx of demand in our industry, orders may be delayed in processing due to becoming out of stock by a manufacturer, wholesaler, or distributor before we can submit the order to them or before they can process the order through their systems. If this occurs we will contact the customer.
  • All orders that include a firearm require the FFL dealer you selected during checkout to provide their Federal Firearm License (FFL) before the firearm can be shipped.
  • All orders that include an NFA firearm require the FFL/SOT dealer you selected during checkout to provide their Federal Firearm License (FFL) and valid Special Occupational Tax (SOT) before the NFA firearm can be shipped.

  • Please contact us if you have any questions, but understand we are not always able to provide estimations on order fulfillment or shipment.

SHIPPING

  • We use a combination of shipping carriers such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Shipping costs vary due to the item(s) being purchased. Oversized accessories may incur an extra shipping charge.
  • Firearms, ammunition, powder, primers, and other merchandise cannot be shipped together. If these items are included in the same order they will be shipped separately which will require additional shipping costs.
  • All Powder and Primer orders require an additional $40 hazardous shipping fee. This fee will be billed separately from your initial order.
  • Tracking numbers for orders that contain a firearm or NFA firearm, if available, only indicate when the package has been received by us or the receiving FFL dealer, it does NOT indicate it is ready for pickup. To avoid unnecessary waiting, you must allow us or the receiving FFL dealer a minimum of 24 to 48 hours after the firearm has been received to complete the legally required acquisition process.

  • All firearms will be shipped to the premise address on the dealer's FFL unless the dealer contacts us and requests it to be shipped to another acceptable address. We may contact and verify the FFL selected during checkout before we ship the firearm(s). All FFL numbers will be validated through FFL EZ Check and must match exactly to avoid delays and/or cancellations. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that Utah FAST has a current copy of the dealer's FFL.
  • Firearms, ammunition, and third-party items (drop-shipped) will NOT be shipped to a Post Office Box.
  • In compliance with federal laws and the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), we will NOT ship firearms or other restricted items outside the United States.
